Start an eco club

Whether you want to organise a one off event or meet to take action regularly, you can start your own eco revolution at your school:

  1. Ask a teacher about setting up a lunchtime or afterschool club
  2. Recruit your classmates
  3. Decide what you would like to achieve together for the planet
  4. Take action and make a difference

Eco-club ideas:

  • Grow a vegetable garden or plant trees on your school site
  • Complete an ‘eco audit’ by walking around your school and jotting down ways you think your school could be kinder to the environment and present your ideas to a teacher
  • Organise a local litter pick in your community
  • Hold a fundraiser for an environmental charity
  • Take action on plastic pollution with Kids Against Plastic
