Scooting, skipping and skating to school

Active travel means getting from one place to another in a way that includes an activity. Walking, cycling, scooting, wheeling or skating are all examples of active travel. These activities are good for both your mental and physical health as well as the environment as they don’t involve using fossil fuels. Your body provides all the energy!

Are you a cycler, walker, skater, scooter or wheeler?

Have you heard of the Bury St Edmunds Bike Train?

If you live and go to school in Bury St Edmunds, why not join the group of students and parents who cycle to school together? They are even supported by the Bike Library who can give you a bike for a small fee if you don’t have one.
