Low carbon transport

There are lots of benefits to ditching the diesel car more often and instead replacing it with walking, cycling, public transport or a hybrid or electric vehicle. Not only can it be cheaper but it’s better for the planet and our mental and physical health.

The low carbon transport theme supports the shift from carbon-intensive methods of travel to more environmentally-friendly methods. This ranges from making freight more efficient to implementing community electric vehicles for local people to use.
